An amateur drama group whose members live in and around the village of Kintbury, in West Berkshire
Kintbury Players has been in existence since 1976, providing theatrical treats and entertainment to Kintbury Village and its environs.
We plan to stage two productions a year. These are normally performed at the Coronation Hall, Kintbury, in the Autumn and in the Spring – or alternatively in support of HADCAF in mid-year.
Usually one night of every production is staged in support of a local charity or school resulting in many thousands of pounds having been raised.
Kintbury Players are planning the next production for November 2016. Gerry Heaton is currently writing a tongue-in-cheek, comedy tribute to Shakespeare, and audition workshops will be held in July (dates to be confirmed). So if you want to take part, on stage or behind the scenes, then let us know – as we always welcome new members, and are always on look out for new budding talent.
